Measuring, reporting, optimising - HANNOVER FAIR 2023
Sustainability objectives, energy shortages and cost pressures represent increasing challenges in many areas of production. AFRISO, as a renowned specialist for measuring, control and monitoring equipment, faces these challenges and supports its industry partners with holistic solutions - right up to engineering and control cabinet construction. The systems include not only the measurement technology and sensors, but also transmission and ongoing evaluation of the measurement results. At the world's leading trade fair for industry, visitors can experience complete system solutions in action at the AFRISO stand and convince themselves of the added value, for example, in the area of plant engineering and control cabinet construction.
Live demonstrations for measurement and event reporting
Using hands-on demonstration systems, AFRISO will be showcasing the ways, for example, displays and WATCHDOG alarm units work together in systems requiring level measurement, from continuous monitoring to event reporting. Another nuts-and-bolts demonstration system will show how the new AG 10 Ex alarm unit can be used to continuously monitor the pressure status of gas-filled containers such as cylinder batteries or cylinder bundle systems. Proper operation of the system can be checked at all times by means of pressing the Test key. Alarms are triggered by a pressure gauge with electrical contacts. The alarm threshold can be set to any required value from 5 to 95 % of the pressure gauge range by means of the contact arm of the pressure gauge. An event reporting system can be connected to the relay output of the alarm unit for remote monitoring.
Level measurement system for a wide range of applications
Further demonstration systems will show how AFRISO level indicators allow for continuous measurement or point level detection in industrial and process engineering applications, for example, in tanks, silos, mobile containers or pipes. A large variety of measuring principles allow you to adapt your system to your individual application requirements and media.
Pressure transducer with two measuring systems
Additional AFRISO trade fair highlights comprise the pressure transducer DMU 13 Vario with local display. With this combination device, two independent measurements ensure greater reliability and high measuring accuracy for optimum monitoring of systems, for example, in the chemical, petrochemical, paper industry or gas control lines. Numerous options such as electrical contacts, housing filling, fitting of chemical seals or other process connections let you adapt the product to a vast range of requirements. Another benefit is a considerable economy of time since, as a single process connection is sufficient for two measuring systems.
Product innovation for tomorrow's hydrogen applications
The new AFRISO DMU 30 pressure transmitter already meets the requirements of future technologies that will result within the framework of the energy transition. It is specially designed for hydrogen applications. DMU 30 is equipped with a welded stainless steel measuring cell. This predestines the device for electronic pressure measurement in a wide variety of machines and systems with hydrogen applications or technical gases.
