With the adjustable Vario-DP dynamic thermostat valves, heating system professionals can perform hydraulic balancing quickly and efficiently. A standard capsule element serves as the basis of the system. Integrated into the valve insert, it automatically limits the water volume adjusted at the valves – independent of pressure variation in the heating system. Therefore, Vario-DP ensures that the right water volume is always supplied to the radiator, regardless of the number of open or closed thermostat valves in the system, for optimum comfortable temperature in the room.

Full functionality even with poor water quality

With AFRISO Vario-DP, the key issue of heating water quality, the contamination with dirt particles and, as a result, a possible malfunction of radiator valves is a matter of the past! Since the control membrane is installed directly in the dynamic valve insert and the valve spindle is used as the pressure sensor, there are no additional control components which might be subject to pollution. In addition, Vario-DP operates with a standard valve gasket and does not require additional dirt filters which need extensive maintenance. Clogging and subsequent failure due to particles can therefore be excluded. Considering the uniquely high flow rate of up to 340 litres per hour, you are extremely flexible in single-family and two-family houses, but also in residential construction - and even in special cases you have a dynamic valve with a sufficiently high reserve at all times.

Complete range

The Vario-DP product range is available with nominal diameters of DN 10, DN 15, DN 20 and in the standard types angled, straight, axial and angled-angled as thermostat valve body and as combination block or thermostat combination block for radiators with centre connection in dual pipe systems. It features a continuously adjustable range from 20 l/h to 340 l/h. The gunmetal fittings have a control range from 20 to 50 kPa; they are suitable for pressures of up to 10 bar and for temperatures of the medium of up to 120 °C.
